Week 4 Reflections

What happened?

Dredded Monday - coming back after Marae and being with everyone - but have had a great week
Been to lectures on Earth Science and Advanced Farm Management
Enviroschools - reflecting with Penny and Shelley - we have decided to reflect at Green/Gold - feeling very good about this - we are ready now
Got lab work today - sometime?
Have been work efficient, lots of reading, reflecting
Board meeting - asked to explain to community what I'm doing and how it will impact on children
Being missed at school - shallow I know - but it's good to hear
Been reading about Executive Function

What I learnt?
 I'm trying to listen with greater empathy and intent - this is hard - rather than thinking of a response
My soil at home is hungry - when I continually take biomatter away, I need to replace it - this is why the garden is so bad
Clover fixes nitrogen into soil
New words - castigate, rongoa, concomitantly, heteroptropic denitrification, heterotrophs
Teaching will have a capability focus - so basic now I think of it, duh
